Elbert Hidding RA (1977) is a Chartered Accountant with extensive management and consultancy experience. As a finance professional with 20 years of strategic and operational leadership in Audit and Risk management in an international context he aims for the best and pursues to deliver impact and value to the organization and its stakeholders, where ethics, quality, trust, and imperial partnership drive success.
He has professional qualifications as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information System Auditor (CISA), Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and qualifies to perform external quality assessments (EQA). ·
From 2001 to 2009, he worked as an external audit professional for EY in the Netherlands and Australia. ·
From 2010-2014 he was responsible for Internal Audit at ZOA, a Dutch NGO. ·
From 2014-2020 he performed several Internal Audit and Risk Management roles for CGIAR. CGIAR is the leading international research for development organizations in the agricultural sector towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals ·
In 2020 he started his own Audit Risk and Compliance Blond Nomads performing multiple engagements for mostly large international non-governmental organizations
He has been a Board member / supervisory Board from 2010-2014. Alde Fryske Tjerken
And he facilitates regular training events for financial professionals.

My core value is creating long-term sustainable value for organizations and considering the pillars of Humans, the Environment and Economics. Collaboration starts with carefully listening, questioning and understanding both issues and the context to find out where support is needed.
I propose a customized plan to work together to deliver an impact that can result in the area of Assurance, Risk management or Internal Control but also Fraud investigations, ESG and CSRD reporting.
